What vaccines does my adopt dog still necessitate?
I currently have a year old mix that I adopted from the shelter contained by Sept... I know that he for sure received a rabies and bordatella shot. But because he was adopted, I do not know his preceding history so i'm not sure what other shots he needs. I know that I need to travel to a vet and get their opinion, but I would really like to bring him to the clinic to get shots (to save money). Is there a opportunity of "over-vaccinnating"? What shots do dogs need at 1 year? thanks!!
step to the clinic and ask for the 6 in one shot, as long as it has been over two weeks. shelters will not adopt a dog out whether it does not have its rabies shot, and usually is six in one or (6 passageway shot).
your dog still likely requirements its parvo vaccine. But since its reached a year, my uncle has raised dogs and breeded them too.I discovered from him that since your pup is a year outmoded it will need all the same vaccines per annum. But of course not all at the same time.Hope this does help=)
Answers: You need to phone the shelter you adopted him from and ask them. Normally they give all the shots back you take them home.
Needs Rabies, DHPPL & Bordetella.
