Whats wrong next to my 8 week behind the times puppy?
I had my sister type the last thing and she get it all wrong...My 8 week old puppy is not eating or drinking. She is only laying around She is getting really skinny too...I have taken her to 4 different vets and they adjectives ran tests but said nothing be wrong with her. Can someone help me?
how many times a day are you feed her? is her mother still with u if not it might be because of depression
What are you feeding her? You need to give her proper puppy food, regularly and offer her time to eat it properly, don't rush her. Puppies do sleep a lot when they're young - hold you ever had one before?
You are letting the puppy have a proper sleep within a quiet place aren't you and not picking it up every five minutes or so?
Has the puppy been wormed?
Instead of taking the puppy to different vets, hold on to going to the same one that way they can monitor the puppy's development better, going to different vet doesn't give them this opportunity and therefore on initial check she may look okay and they may then with the sole purpose see a deterioration on a second visit.
Answers: feed her can food by appendage and make sure your still giving her her milk you have to keep hold of her body stong make sure she gets hose down take a droper and give it to her ad whether she gets week take kyro syrup and reg syrup and sugar mix it up put it in her food or giv it to her wifh a droper trade name sure she not a dieabetic dog if i spell that right case iam a dieabetic myself and one past its sell-by date my chihuahua has it but all you do is give them kyro hope i relief
did they do a parvo test on her? parvo has those exact symptoms especially contained by puppies. have them do a parvo test if they hadnt b4 n consequently a heart worm test if they hadnt b4. but really make certain they do the parvo test. for her to be gettin skinny, not eating or drinking its painfully conspicuous there's somethin wrong! u got some vets that dont sound to smart. try ur local humane society or spca for comfort of ur puppy. do it soon tho, parvo (if it is) can kill puppies.
Your sister, or someone close to her has be giving it something that's not dog food. You need to find out if the puppy has eat and kind of chocolate. Its poisonous to them.
Didn't the people you bought her from relay you what her diet was? She probably doesn't like the new food that you are feed her.
Try her on a rice with chicken stock diet for a while. Just give her a 1/4 cup at a time.
Have any of these vets mention Fading Puppy Syndrome? If not, perchance you should call them and ask them--and tell them you want the puppy seen again. That something is NOT right!

Have you checked her stools? (poop) is there any worms surrounded by them like little rice things squirming around it maybe it has worms. hang on to on checking for more vets.
4 vets and nothing wrong? Hmmmm.. sounds curious to me. If she is getting skinny, she NEEDS some medical attention to draw from to the root of the problem. At 8 weeks, they are very susceptible to disease and can die easily due to their small mass!
