Answers: Cheap and quality don't usually go together. Generally, puppy training classes are a horrible environment for training your up to date dog anyway. They present tremendous distractions, make it hard for your puppy to focus and swot, and it often leads owners or trainers to brand a dog "difficult" and resort to tools like pinch collars, team leader harnesses, or other crutches.
Your dog should be trained, and while tools can be very helpful, in attendance is a huge tendency to use them forever, when they should be used to assist in training until you can wean the dog off of them.
It's best to start your dog's training in need distractions, in the quiet of your own home. When he is solidly trained, you may start off to increase his distraction level.
I recommend finding a good step-by-step book, and training your dog yourself. If you can find a professional trainer to give you suggestion, or work with you one-on-one, so much the better, but a book will work just as well as your average Petco or Petsmart trainer.
The cheapest training is an owner training their own dog.
