Who know of a reputable labrador retriever breeder surrounded by Ontario? ?

Hi,

Pick up a copy of Dogs Annual from your local pet store. There have got to be at tiniest 100 lab breeders listed throughout Canada. Make sure to do your research on the ones in your nouns though! Labs are so over bred that there are many that don't fit the breed standard even if they are registered! Also several health defects that the breeder should be checking for before selling the pups or breeding the dogs contained by the first place.

Before looking into breeders, why don't you check the animal shelters in your area? Did you know that Labs are the most popular shelter dogs? I'm sure you can find plenty of pups that hold been abandoned by their owners who paid out the wazoo for a purebred. There are also tons of breed specific rescues out there--if your local shelter doesn't enjoy what you're looking for, you can always find a Lab rescue shelter.

Check petfinder.com (not sure if it works within Ontario) for lots of great information on Labs and other homeless shelter pups.
