29 gallon cistern, lots of fish, is this ok?
I have a 29 gallon tank with 1 silver angle fish, 1 serpae tetra, 1 golden tetra, 1 masculine guppy, 3 zebra danios, 4 neon tetras, and 1 rubber mouth pleco. is this okay, the angle fish started eating the neons so now there is none vanished. the angle fish also has shredded fins, does this mean some of the other fish are nibbling on them?
You should NOT get a Pleco, it is going to outgrow the tank. Return the Pleco. Keep the Tetras, but individual a school of them, of one kind. Have 4-6 Tetras with the Angelfish, and perchance add another Angelfish of the same gender. That's it.
Your tetras are schooling fish and should be kept in groups of 6 or more. The serpae tetra and the gold tetra probably nip the fins of the angel. I would get the guppy and danios out and get enough tetras to tolerate them school.
Answers: Number of fish are OK, but the mix is not pious.
Angelfish will eat small tetras, as you have found out. And other tetras tend to nip the fins of other fish, especially whether they are not kept in a small school of their own kind.
The Rubberlip pleco is fine for that size container, they only grow to 3 or 4 inches long.

I agree near the RN. Let your tetras school or they will get way too stressed out. Get the danios out of here.
