A couple fish question?
1) How often do you treat your fish with food other than flakes?
2) Which is your favorite fish and why?
3) How come the pet stores cistern water always looks so much cleaner and clearer than mine? My ammonia/nitrite/nitrate levels are other perfect. Water conditions seem to be great.
My favorite is this one black molly I have that follows my paw wherever it moves. She was also my first fish I nursed back to vigour making it my favorite.
1. sometimes we feed em shrimp or oyster chunks
2. flame angel fish they look cool
3. better filters and what not better lights or something
1. They have live food twice a week and frozen every day, moment feed is usually flake.
2. Toss up between Discus and Clown Loach both colourful but the clown loach for entertainment value.
3. Most shops run sump systems, roomy vats of water are cycled through there fish tanks so what you see is probably 10pct of the unharmed water system. This allows them to overstock the tanks and you will see no drop in river in the tanks every time they fill a case. Obviously with this much water being filtrated the parameter are far more stable than can be guaranteed in your own tank.

1. I nurture all my fish 2, 3 times a day, only once of which is flakes, repeatedly feed them pellets and wafers, throw in some frozen foods 2, 3 times a week
2. Fav fish I own or hold owned? Or fav fish overall? Out of all the fish Ive had I'll have to move about with either tiger barbs, jack dempsey or convict cichlids. Tigers are lively and basically look badass, jacks are just plain beautiful and convicts are downright nasty, aim motherfu*kers. Id like to own a black ghost knife fish, freshwater stingrays and a freshwater wolf fish, why? Because they're awesome thats why
3. Because most pet stores metamorphose all the tanks every day and hold massive filtration systems
