A press around Betta fish?

I know they sell those little cute Betta fish at the store and stuff like that, but I want one in my room to keep hold of on my nightstand or something.

A few questions...

1. If I just want one Betta, can I get a short time tank?

2. How often should I provide water change?

3. How often should I feed it?

4. Is there anything else I should know?

5. Am I completely not learned to want to keep a fish on my nightstand?
1. The smallest tank you should get is a 2.5 gallons and it must have a filter and space heater
2. Once a week or once every two weeks
3. once a day
4. Nope
5. no
2 or 3 gallons of dampen is fine, if you keep it clean and dont overfeed. Feed the Betta once or twice a time and remember the stomach is no bigger than their eyeball. Feed it 6 out of 7 days, let it fast the 7th day. Change most of the sea 1 time per week, replacing the water with water that have been held at the same temperature. They drop if the tank is filled to the top cover it. Use a dechlor when replacing the marine. Never clean anything the fish touches with soap.
ya u can put a betta within a small tank..like just a regular fish bowl. once a week is fine to verbs the water but if the water is not dirty next do not change it. onece a day to feed it lately a lil bit. u can keep it on your night stand that is fine. you can attain a lil fake plant to put in the fish tank they resembling it...hope this helped:)
1.) Yes, the minimum is 2.5 gallon. I do paperwork to put mine in a 5 gal.

2.) I chance my water once a week... more or less 25% of it... But be sure to dechlorinate the water!! Just get a hose down conditioner.

3.) Just feed him 2 times a day. Couple of pellets. Maybe a treat once within awhile :)

4.) Be sure to have a heater. I preserve my tank about 80 degrees. A filter too! But be certain to cycle it.. You may have to look up and learn about it. But except that, they are very easy to care for.

5.) Nope! I enjoy one on my nightstand too! I love to watch him swim around :D
1 1 gallon best small tannk
2 1/3 a week
3 1 or 2 times a day
4 u can or not inevitability a heater ,filter ,plants ,caves
5 ur not
1. not a very small tank, 2 gallons minimum. i put the cistern that i have in the sources, it includes a filter, light, and some decorations whether you want them. its very easy to set up and works very in good health.
2. i make 25% water changes once a week, calculation a few drops of water conditioner and sucking up all the... waste=)
3. i feed mine 2-3 small pellet once a day. but if you forget to feed it for a touch while, it'll do fine.
4. well bettas are pretty simple fish. and sure the tank i included within the sources has a light but don't keep it on.
5. no, not at adjectives.
good job so far, your fish will be very healthy=)
when i got my betta end week i asked the same questions to the pet store owner and my good friend,

1.you can hang on to it in a betta tank, its like a small bowl and they are immaculately happy because in the wild they live surrounded by mud puddles and enjoy it.

2. change the water once a month and single 1/4 cup at a time. I suggest getting water cleaner to insure the health of your betta, its not expensive and last a while.

3. i suggest the pelets, they are easier to measure and easier to clean up than the flakes. you can nurture you betta 3 pelets 3 times a day that way the water doesnt draw from all that gross so fast.

4. No there isnt excluding i STRONGLY suggest the pellets. they make vivacity easier and last long time! a really long time.

5. No you arnt, just as long as it isnt somewhere where it will bring bumped easily. the water movement isnt good for the fish and cause stress and illness.

hope this has helped you :)
1. One betta will need at least a 2.5 gallon near a heater and slow flowing filter

2. 25% water changes every week

3. Once a year, 4 pellets. Fast one day out of the week.

4. They average lifespan is 3.5 years

5. If you can fit a 2.5 gallon on your nightstand without it tipping over, afterwards go for it.
1.Yes you can but not too small

2.every week

3.once a day in the middle of the day

4.Put rocks at the bottem of the cistern so the tank can shine

5.U can put it on your nightstand if the tank is small/big anough

1. Get one male Betta, and get [at the minimum] a 5gallon tank.
2. Depends on whether you have adequate filtration or not.
3. Once a day, or once every 2 days, I nurture mine every 2-3 days.
4. Just keep up with water change and maintaining. Don't just forget about him, similar to a lot of first time-betta owners do.
5. Nope. That's where my betta was 'till I transferred him to my 30G.
1- Yes a regular sized fish bowl is the smallest I would recommend though.

2- I change mine once a month but I have a bigger cistern. I'd say once a week to once every two weeks.

3- DO NOT FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS ON THE FOOD CONTAINER. My local pet store that specializes in fish said that that was freshly a gimmick in order for people to buy More food. 3 pellet ONCE a day is the correct amount according to the workers there.

4- Just bring good care of it. It can live for a lot longer whether you don't over feed it. Both of mine lasted for 3 years.

5-No, that's were I preserve mine.
yes u can get a 2-3 gallon tank for it.
u should transform the water about twice a week with a polite filter. if u dont have a filter change it every afternoon. they get messy. feed it twice a day and solely as much as it can consume in 5 minutes. ur not ignorant, i had my fish on my nightstand too. lately keep it away from air vent
Yes, every week, twice a daylight, no, no...
1, achieve a tank of atleast 1.5 gallons. Preferably 2.5 gallons.
2. depending on the size of the tank 50% every 3 days
3. 2 pellets twice day after day, then fast one day, after feed a frozen deshelled pea
4.
5. Nope that is where mine is!
bettas are ez to thinking for you can keep it any where
that hold one quart of water or more

correct the water every 3 days or so to prevent any tail rot
feed three betta bites every 2 days

or depending on you. fishes last two weeks near out feeding
(cruel to others in the hobbie but nature to them seeing they come from ocean or rivers in other countries ) they really dont have us to feed them on a regular

its not wrong to leave your job it on your night stand you can put it even in your medicine cabinet and it will be fine

these fishes are similar to miserable they just sit there doing nil much of good some show lack of enthusiasm when in the small
cups they come surrounded by you can give it attention from time to time
and it will show you a sign by swimming to the top (thinking its feeding time or just looking to play around) do hang on to in mind you keeping it in a container with out filter or stuff like that so make certain you dont see bubbles in the water with grease deposits on top (leads to fin rot )
and they require special meds to regen there fins

but they will do fine in a one quart cup to a 2 gal tank witch is better more to move and more places to cover up

dont put male with male (males are the long fancy fins / where on earth to females have short fins ) cause one will end up unmoving

if you put male and female engineer sure you have a 5 to 10 gal tank for this basis the male will stalk to death your female till he get what he wants they bread by (male making a bubble nest ) while male and female jazz together resulting the female to drop eggs into the nest while the male does his fertile thing

whether you get a two to 5 gal tank every week water amend should be done
to prevent his fins from rotting or catching fungi
or just make sure you pilfer out any left over food he dont eat

hope it helps
and worthy luck in your betta
1..Get 5 gallon tank for 1 batta
2. At most minuscule once every 2 weeks.
3. Twice a day
4. Cycle your tank before putting the fish. Learn just about the nitrogen cycle for aquarium.
5. No
yes but not 2 small, at least 1 every 2 weeks(warm water), 4-6 pellets a day 2 times a light of day, dont but 2 male bettas together that all
one betta will do good in a 5 gallon
do a hose down change every other month
if no filter then every week
nurture every other day
put the tank some place where youre not fumbling for a clock or hurricane lantern
1. If I just want one Betta, can I get a bit tank? Just because betta fish can survive in small cramped places they don't enjoy it. Atleast! ATLEAST 2 gallons please.

2. How regularly should I provide water changes? Weekly. Too often will grounds stress for the fish.

3. How often should I feed it? Every day or Every 2 days.

4. Is within anything else I should know? Betta fish should be treated fairly with a big tank space.

5. Am I completely not learned to want to keep a fish on my nightstand? nope.
A BIG thing you have need of to know is NEVER get 2 and put them i the same tank..um resourcefully if you do they will fight until one dies.
1. Yes, I enjoy mine in a 2.77 gal.

2. once a week unless you have a filter & bubbler like me I evolution mine every 2 months.

3. Once every other day.

4. I don't think so.

5. No.

A$H!
daphnia and baby shrimp
Answers:    get a small fish bowl. dont put 2 of them in one reservoir.(they are also known as: japanese fighting fish) if you attain a pretty on and you want them to have babies, get one of tose ugly feminine ones. DO NOT PUT 2 MALES TOGETHER. THEY WILL KILL EACHOTHER. change the water once a week. feed it once a afternoon. if its stomach gets big and whitish and the scales start falling off, it might be dying. betta fish food is different than regular fish food. no you are not completely unapprised. just dont knock it of your night stand, hit it by mistake when your turning off the alarm clock, and dont overfeed it.
1. Yes, you can just get one of those 2.5 gallon tanks. That's the minimum you can hold for a Betta fish. Make sure to provide: air stone, nouns pump, and hose. If you get one of those cheap ones they sell at Wal-Mart, and that should do the trick. They come with the upper air supplies (what I just listed) the tank, some decorations, but not a whole lot, you'll own to buy some more, light w/ bulb, and an under gravel filter. They'll have directions on how to put it together when you obtain the tank.

2. You should be doing a 25% water change anywhere from 5 days to once a week. When you forsaken out some water, look at the tank, and just eye globe it out too see if it looks like it's about 25% ok? =]

3. Feed the fish 2-3 times a hours of daylight. Feed what it can consume within 3 minutes and take out whatever the Betta didn't munch through.

4. Well, not much, just get some Betta conditioner at the store and follow the directions on the back how much you should put surrounded by the tank. Water conditioners for fish tanks are so that tap sea is safe for the Betta. We have chemicals in our sea that some fish can't survive in so use that to get rid of it. Also, don't worry almost how some people say you can't put any other fish and especially Bettas within with them; it's not true. Bettas can get along with variety of fish. For instance, I have a male betta in my community cistern with: Zebra Danios, Plecos, Cory Cats, Tetras, and some Cherry Barbs. Now, the Barbs tend to be a bit nippy at fish who have long flowing fins. I took the risk but, they're doing just fine. They never chase him around or anything. =]

5. Well, i guess you might. I would own tried and put the fish on the nightstand and see if it would be okay, but since it might not, I would have put the fish on shelf or bought a small stand for it. I used to keep my first Betta on one of the shelves that I kept things on. Didn't hurt anything. He be just fine and happy. =] Let's just right to be heard instead of being ignorant, your just a neophyte. [<--- that scheme to be a beginner or in-experienced.] It's okay if you do fee approaching this. Everyone has to start somewhere don't we?

I hope this was helpful! Good luck near your fishy!! x]
How do I acclimate my unknown Betta fish?   In a 29 gallon fish container?   Help me next to my red bonnet oranda ?   Betta eggs on the reservoir bottom?
