Are ponds undemanding to transport carefulness of?
I have 13 common goldfish in a 10 gallon cistern my brother is in the process if buying a house that has a pond I be thinking about putting my fish in his pond because they'll be happier there. but I doubt he can appropriate the responsibility or even remember to feed them. he was thinking about getting koi are they straightforward?, any advice?
Koi are the easiest they get.
They can stay in the pond all winter surrounded by warmer areas.
Read up on pond care on the net.
It doesn't matter if he feeds or not. There is ample for the fish to eat without feeding a pond. THEY DON"T have need of to be fed if in a pond. Between the algae and misqueto larve, and bugs, ponds are self contained. Filters are great on smaller ponds near no spring fed.
Koi don't need cared for. They are even well again by letting them go than they are with artifical foods.
YES he and the fish will be fine. Water changes whether not over croweded are replaced by rain fall. Fountain or waterfall is a great count but not needed.
Nitrates are what should be monitored not ammonia or nitrites. This is due to plant die off and leaves pettles etc blown into ponds.
Really pond fish don't need feed.
Answers: koi are easy to take attention to detail all you need space, depth, good filter and lots of partial dampen changes and feeding.
kOi keeper & goldfish curator.
I have one. Just get a filter :)
You dont need to clean it alot because the fish will chomp through or suck at the ''stuff'; in the water. if you know what i mingy.xx
Depends on the size of the pond, koi grow very large and need at most minuscule some basic care. If you want some fish in the pond but don't hold the time to care for them, get some small fish like mosquito fish as they can live on their own and can live sour things that grow in the water like insects and algae.
