Baby feeder fish aid?

What are you supposed to feed to baby feeder fish or goldfish? After my turtles got tired of chasing it around i settled to save it. After i put the fish in a bowl it seemed severely depressed and it didn't want to eat. Any suggestions？
just crush up flake food and feed the fish
but whether your going to keep him put him in a tank beside a filter and heat on the tank!

I suppose it depends on how big it is. I'm sure it's big plenty to eat some flake food. You'll probably have to wait a year or two before it's ready to eat though. You'll build it feel safer if you put some decorations in the bowl so he have something to hide under/behind.

If you cant provide the 30 gal tank and over-kill filtration it needs to reach its 20 plus years natural life span, the you may as well put it back in near the turtle, If you want to actully 'save' it, get a nice size tank (30 gals) and type in 'cycling a container on google' and start researching.

Goldfish will eat almost anything, sinking pellets are best, so they own a lower chance of getting swimbaldder disease (goldfish are more prone with flakes).
