Best fish for tropical container ?

Mollies are pretty cool, and you don't need too much space for them; 4 would fit in a 10-gallon tank when they're childlike. They're fast and relatively hardy fish. If you do get the mollies, be sure not to carry them with any really small fish such as neon tetras. I had 1 and 1 of my mollies ate it.
Best or my personal favorite? There is no "best" and all depends, what size tank do you own? Fresh, brackish or saltwater? Are you planning a community tank or single species? How much experience do you have? Whats already in the cistern? As far as personal favorite I like rays, tiger barbs, gouramis, glack ghost gouge fish, wolf fish, trigger fish and saltwater gobies
