Betta VS Dwarf Gourami?

I have a 10 gallon tank that I started cycling last darkness. I was going to get a betta but then I walk by the tank with dwarf gouramis. Now I can't decide, should I seize the betta like I originally planned or the dwarf gourami? Either way, I'm also going to get 1 African dwarf frog.
It really depends on what your specific preference is. I conjecture you should get the Betta, just because the Dwarf Gourami, even because of its name - grows big, and could chomp through, or injure the frog. But it's all your choice.
Well dwarf gouramis thankfully stay small and are very docile community fish, so once your container is cycled you can add more community fish with it.

Whereas with a betta, they tend to be aggressive near most other fish.
(just don't house a betta with a gouramis, they are closely related and will argue)

I would get the Gouramis, you will have more option in which to build your 10 gallon once cycled. I would wait however, until your tank is in place before adding a dwarf frog, they are sensitive to water paremeters.
Answers:    Do dwarf gourami. Im in actuality very biased with any gouramis (I love em!). They get give or take a few the same size as a betta. And if you decided to, you could incorporate other fish later.
That really depends on what you like, I like gouramis more but most people resembling bettas more, they're very similar, both are labyrinth fish. Dwarfs dont get hulking like the 1st girl said, hence the name dwarf, they only carry about 2.5'', bettas get around 3'' and that doesnt include their big fins!
powerfully im a fan of both aswell, and used to have dwarf gouramis, they are extremely colorful and can make a apposite addition to a community tank. bettas can do that as well, but not as resourcefully as a dwarf gourami can. and you could possibly get more than one (but be careful, because they are territorial fish), bettas and gouramis are in indistinguishable family and can breathe air, and are notorious for individual territorial. I dwarf gourami in the end will give you more option when it comes to getting other fish. but a betta will be easier to take care of.good luck making ur decree.
Either way as far as compability your doing good beside both choices. Now you have to decided base on colors.
