Can black neon tetra be reservoir mate beside the betta fish?

Yes, i have some in beside my betta (20 gal tank) I have black green and plain, very pretty fish. And my red betta looks stunning amoungst them. Never had any problems. Best of luck Angel

Answers:    Yup. Keep them in groups of 4-5 to keep them from bothering the betta(s). I have Black Neons and they're great! Their a incredibly peacful community fish.

Just don't add fish like barbs, they are in good health known fin nippers!
