Can guppies live together? how various ? ?
...im not a fish person ...
Guppies are great community fish. Usually, you want to keep no more than two fish per gallon of tank space you have and beware... they breed close to crazy!
yes, they're communal and cowed fish.
NOTE: It's important to remember not to have too many males. The males follow the females around so whether there are more males that females then the females will get tied of swimming absent from the males, and can die from tiredness. A good rule is to have 2 females to 1 male.
Answers: Yes guppies are fine in a large group. Allow going on for a gallon of water per adult guppy, but you can push that higher whether you have good filtering and save up the water changes. I think I be up to about 80 in 20gal tank, but that be before the great guppy give-away of 07. Thats a bit extreme though. dont get that many.
