can vet treat fish?

Yes... what in particular is wrong with your fish?
Generally no.

Most vets are trained to work with mammals, cats, dogs etc. Or within a farming area, cows, horses etc

Most fish health problems are certainly Tank problems anyway, so taking a fish to a vet will generally do little good.

Also most vet would charge $50-$100 for a consult. It would need to be a very valuable fish to be worth it.

A vet practise that specilises surrounded by more exotic pets may have someone that knows something about fish, but resembling I said before, it's generally the aquarium that needs fixing, not the individual fish.

Answers:    They usually don't. First of all, it would be a waste of money. Secondly, nearby isn't much a vet can do to a fish. Thirdly, the fish would be more likely to die from the stress and shock involved in transport than be helped by the vet. You'll probably lately give everyone there a good gurgle. As somebody mentioned, there are koi surgeons, but that's because koi can cost up to $1500. Those are usually only located surrounded by large cities where they'd get some trade anyway.
It depends some vets won't treat some fish because they are sensitive to chemicals or medicine so you might to ask a vet first before purely taking it to one.
Yes, but not normally.
There is a koi surgeon contained by my area.
meybes som do
Ummm.. most don't - some do.
Some vet treat fish, but most of them don't.
Fish biology is generally not a big part of their training, because 99% of veterinary practice these days is "small animal," basically dogs and cats.
