Can you use Maracyn contained by an aquarium near tot fishes?

Theres zebra danios, gold mollys and dwarf gouramis in my tank. One of the dwarf gourami is not drinking, just hangs out on the bottom without even trying to drink, seems bloated and unenthusiastic about anything. I am trying to see which medication is right for it and I am guessing I should try Maracyn, HOWEVER, there's like 4-6 baby gold mollys contained by the tank. I am not sure if I can use maracyn (or any other medication product) when there's babies within the tank. What should I do
Answers:    Dwarf gouramis are, unfortunately, not very hardy fish. I've talk to others in the hobby that say they used to be very hardy, but the popular emergency for them has made them less so.

Gouramis suffer from iridovirus, a lethal infectious virus that simply infects gouramis. The dwarf gouramis are especially susceptible to the virus. A study of commercial gouramis showed that 20% were infected with the disease, and once they start showing symptoms, it is other fatal.

You can try the usual things, but if your gourami gets worse or shows no signs of responding to medication, I would recommend putting him down near clove oil.

I recommend taking him out of the tank, putting him in a quarantine reservoir, especially if you have other gouramis contained by the tank. Then you can treat him with medication without verbs about the babies. The transfer is stressful which is unfortunate, but imo it is more major to contain the infection.

Keep a close eye on the other gouramis.
I would not treat a fish with medications unless you knew what be wrong with it. Kinda like us taking meds for something we may not have.

How long since you've done a apposite water change with those babies surrounded by their now? Gourami's (dwarfs) are one fish I have never been competent to keep for some reason. The large gourami's do fine but never the dwarfs.
