Discus next to fin rot?
i have 4 discus and 2 of them have fin rot. My questions are how to cure fin rot and will it spread? I added maracyn 2 will this work? Also should i attach salt to the tank to cure it? What should i do and whats the quickest cure?
Answers: Fin rot is caused by bacterial infection, so yes Maracyn 2 should work fine. Just be certain to remove the activated carbon from your filter and run the full course of treatment as directed.
Maracyn 2 should would just fine. My aunt used that for her fish. Its still alive now and it took perchance 6 days to cure
