Answers:    Yes, guppies, especially males, do something sort of similar to flirting. Formally, this is called a "display." Males may also display to each other, though, in lay down to establish dominance.

It's rather easy to report to the sexes of adult guppies. Look at some pictures of pairs of guppies in a book or online and you'll see. Males are much more colorful (except in a few strains that own colorful females) and are smaller. Females are larger, less colorful, and usually have big, round bellies. When they are pregnant (almost adjectives the time if they're kept with males), females have a "gravid spot"-- a see, roughly triangular marking above the anal fin. Adult males and females also have differently shaped anal fins-- something that a few photos will show better than I can describe here.
A male guppy have a gonopodium which is a backwards pointing fin thing underneath his belly in front of his tail. They also enjoy large flamboyant tails, The femails tend to have smaller tail and are not so colourful. They have small fins on their underneath
The flirty thing is probably a male interested contained by impregnating a female. Guppies at live bearers. The fry are particularly iny when born and are apt to be eaten unless separated in a nursery tank.
