At first I thought she might be pregnant again, until i realized the redness around one fin and how it is stuck pointing straight out away from her, i also become aware of that the scales on her belly look like they are all pointed out, not smooth and flat anymore...should I flush her? what is wrong next to her???!

Answers:    I certainly wouldn't flush her or any fish for that matter. But now to solve the problem. Have you tried feed her some frozen peas that you have cooked and mashed? If she is bloated that would help tremendously and they love them. I would treat next to Melafix and Pimafix as directed on the bottle. I have attached two links that can help you diagnose problems with fish. You could be dealing next to dropsy but without seeing pictures it would be hard to tell. It sounds very much close to dropsy. It isn't contagious but its not very pleasant to look at. I had a molly like this lately and the books said they can live for months like it but ours died with contained by a week.
