Answers:    well little trick is take the measurement the side of the chalice front to back and its more then 13 inches (which is at most what ur fish will get ) u'll be fine and urs is 18 so yea ur biddable theres also a formula posted on another question on here but um idk what it is sorry but yea ur cool and the only reason why u inevitability atleast 13 inches on the sides front to back is so ur fish can easily turn around when he gets elder so yupp ur good
