HELP! MY FISH IS SWIMMING UPSIDE DOWN?

I have two fish and one of them has just started to constantly swim and float upside down, he have always swan on his side but never upside down! Why is this one and not the other swimming upside down? He appears happy enough, and the cistern has a filter please help!
maybe its a domestic sick australian fish.
i have a fish approaching this and there is nothing wrong with it it have been doing it for about 3 months now. its in recent times a phase.it will swim upside down for abit then swim the correct way up. BUT once i have a fish that did the same thing and it did eventually die not from natural cause but from the other fish attacking it, the pecked away at it bit by bit just make certain you dont see any attacking going on!!

hope that i helped you
Glue half of everything you own to the ceiling before it notices what it is doing. Keep the next of kin of your stuff where it is for the sake of the normal fish.
Ummmm, not to be denote, but, i think that your fish may be dying because that is what most fish do. It has prolly be attacked or is getting to old to live anymore. That happened t me once. I havent had a fish sence. I hope i help u!!
Swim Bladder Diesease - this can be treated by stuff you put into the wet you will be able to get it from any pet shop. My Fish did this and I treated him and he was fine consequently.
put some brandy in its mouth..(my mum did it next to one of my goldfish when I was 6.it worked)

but failing that, its about to die. Kill it, save it the torture.
Answers:    What kind of fish? It sounds resembling he is having problems with his swim bladder. Google "swim bladder disease" and do a bit of reading. It should help you amount out what you need to do. Without knowing what kind of fish or what size tank or any other details, at hand is not much I can say to help you.
what size tank?
what type of fish?

it probably has swim bladder disease. There are treatments in the stores. If you don't treat it, you'll lose him.
oh thats pretty normal, sometimes fishes got disoriented by a short term.
i dont mean to sound penny-pinching.. but one of my fishies started doing that then it died. It isnt good like.
Are you sure it is still alive?
i had a fish do the same entity, i would personally put him in anotherr bowl with fresh sea away from your other fish and the filer, he should pick up by hiself and in fresh water i would do this asap, but remember to add on a little warm water surrounded by the container to bring it to the same temp as your other tank, so its not a shock for him being surrounded by colder water :) wish him all the best
its gunna die my convicts when they had babies killed a jewel and he be doin that yea sorry but ur fish is dead
I wont be mean and say-so that its dead now get over it. Instead not a hundred percent be nice and say that its time to hold a funeral in the toilet.
it's be attacked by another fish...so this is a sign that we will die within a 24 hour period.so sorry for you :(
I necessitate some guidance for my fish whether they'll get it on a 2 daylight trip within a coup¨¦?   My fish keep hopping out of the bowl?   Why does my marine monkey container enjoy brown dots at the top?   What are some honourable freshwater fish that get through algea, but not plants, within an aquarium?
