Help near a sick goldfish?
the children i babysit for have a goldfish that is sick and sitting at the bottom of their tank. the goldfish is blond and seems to eat when fed but it will lay at the bottom when finished. i cant transfer its water or anything until i have some declhorinator. can someone help?
well i would have to influence it must be something wrong with the water, you should change it as soon as you can
take the goldfish out of the water, press on his stomach 10 times or for 15 seconds. Then blow into its mouth for 30 second. If he stops flipping around that means hes ok. If he keeps on flipping around you must keep him out for longer until he stops.. completely.

Although sitting at the bottom of the tank doesn't always mean nearby is something wrong.
Have you been able to test the sea? If the fish is turning pale this is usually a sign of poor water level. I would suggest getting the dechlor as quickly as possiable and doing a 25% water variation.
Stress can also lead to color loss, but stress can come from a number of places including poor water power. Try to get the water change done promptly
You cant give cpr to a goldfish, unless its the big kind...
By the way, Can you see anything unusual about it.. Maybe like something that just pops out or looks strange about it?
Sorry roughly your experience here. It may have swim bladder, it can cause uncontrollable floating or sinking. Feed it a mash pea, it is like a laxative to them, and it will be fine. It just is constipated, give it smaller quantity food and split it into more feedings.
