Help! Saltwater reservoir have "dust" on inside of cup.?

Everyday I'm getting like a dusting on the insde of my tank glass. It comes right bad, but it's a pain. I even tried a partial water change and that didn't lend a hand. I only have a couple of live rocks and a fe fih. What's causing this? Please relieve as this is making my tank look like crap. Thanks!
sounds like brackish deposits on your tank. Not much you can do able that with a brackish water tank. Make sure the plane of water is as high as it can go.
Maybe it's not like "dust", but air bubbles. Whenever you change the river, the cool water and the warmer water collide, sort of, particularly with the salt, creating air bubbles. If you stroke on the glass a bit, it will go away. You could also in recent times leave them, and let them pop by themselves.
Answers:    It may be a type of algae growing on the glass, it starts stale as a haze but if left alone probably would turn green or brown. This is duly normal in saltwater tanks. Probably whether you ran your fingers across the inside of the glass it would feel humane of slimy.

Many people will use one the magnet algae scrappers (most you can keep in the cistern all the time) and wipe down the glass a few times a week to help draw from rid of this.

Also if the tank does not have any photosynthetic organisms (like corals for example) you can cut down on the amount of time the lights are on. Keeping the lights on for a few hours per light of day should be fine.
sounds approaching salt from evaporating water or just tricky water
hope this helps!
