Hi. enjoy a Comet goldfish, approx 4 years ancient contained by outdoor pond.?

Lately looking - can only describe as looks like swallowed a dinner plate! Anyway, today is spending some of the time upside down?? anyone please backing?
options on what to do.

1) Take him to a vet
or
2)check whether dead(be careful it has lived for a long time)
or
3)clean the pond(the water may be dirty

well i guess your fat little friend is headed to the toilet bowl up in the sky. but to rescue it you may want to bring it inside or to the vets it might have the ick.

Answers:    This could be swim bladder disease. If you feed it flakes, or non-sinking food, try feeding it a couple of shelled peas, or spinach, or a carrot, and some other sinking food so that it doesn't spend most of its time on the top, inhaling oxygen.
