How can I well and cheaply build my own aquarium stand?

How do you build a nice aquarium stand for maybe say, $50?

Answers:    look on craigslist for a free desk, if the tank isn't lashing + big, use a nightstand, build your own, repaint anything you find in some nice colors, decorate around the tank

you could build a metal frame to support the aquarium. type in "diy aquarium stand" on google.
The downside to doing this yourself is you need to be skilled enough to form sure everything is very precise.
For instance, if you'd dance for the metal frame, and you didn't build it precisely enough, you could risk the weight being bumpily distributed. This might cause it to give in sooner or later.
My upside down catfish wont get through ?   Different betta styles?   Just bought 2 iridescent sharks lay on the bottom ?   What other freshwater fish can coexist beside a MALE betta?
