How did my silver dollars carry very well over 10 ick spots on them surrounded by the concern of minutes ?
my fish was fine one minute and then they got ick the subsequent but it is just my 4 inch silver dollars what should i do and dose any one think it might be something else thanks
Answers: Silver dollars are prone to ich below stress. When I had my pet store, we automatically dosed all new silver dollars for ich and quarantined them until that time selling them. When leaving our store we put a preventative dose in their water. All article written around them state how susceptible they are to ich.
It could be because in the store, you didn't look at them properly. If you mean you just brought them domestic, and you've now put them in your tank, and you enjoy now noticed the spots, then it could be a problem near your tank. I'm sorry, but I can't answer much else, just because you have not explained the size of your reservoir, and the other types of fish in your tank. Did you check your water? If not, that could be the problem. Or the fish could hold just been sick in the store. We can't make available you much else without proper information.
