How do I resolve clash between two Gouramis contained by a twenty gallon reservoir?

I have two male (one gold, one blue) gouramis within a twenty gallon tank along with some tiger barbs. The blue gourami have the gold one basically confined to a small corner under some of the cistern decorations and chases him around the tank and nips at his fins/sides. Would adding some females alleviate or exacerbate the problem? Is at hand any other way to make life smaller amount miserable for the Gold gourami?
Get rid of the blue one, your fish shouldnt have to live in fear.
The miserable Gourami wants its own pad. He say he's tired of having to share with an overbearing bully and would be much happier in another room...preferably practical a remote and tv.
Answers:    Remove one. Male Gouramis are highly territorial and keeping two together, with or lacking females, will result in territory disputes. If the tank be more like a 75-90 gallon or larger they'd be able to keep absent from each other, but in a relatively small 20g, one male singular.
Think of masculine gouramis like betttas. They dont get along
