How several Demasoni cichlids can I preserve?

I have a 50 gallon fish tank that measures 30 x 12 x 22 inches (length, width, inches). I want to save Demasoni's that are about 2 - 3 inches long and I do not want to mix them with any other cichlids. I'm already familiar beside tank setups and such but I do not know how many Demasoni's I can have contained by my fish tank.

So how many can I keep in recent times so that they won't kill off each other?

No more than 2 males to several females and lots and lots of rocks for their hiding places.

Your container is a 37 gallon, not a 50. A 50 gallon is 36x19x19.
That is a 30 (ish) gallon tank so you could only keep one as the reservoir isn't large enough for the number needed to spread out aggression - typically 8 or more.
Demasoni grow larger than 2-3" but are highly territorial.

Answers:    I'd tend to side beside bj on this one. I wouldn't try to do two males in a tank of these dimensions, but there is a touch trick that MIGHT make it work. What I've done in larger tanks, be build up decor that had height in the middle of the cistern, which acted as an artificial divider. This in a sense, established half the tank for one masculine, and the other half for the other. Not Demasoni in my case, but contained by theory, this could work for an extended period of time. This gives you more time to own it work if you buy them when very small too.

When I say point too, I'd say be it rocks, or a big castle or a huge plant field, whatever you find will work, I tight-fisted at least half the height of the container or more. I did this in a 180 where my most aggressive species of Mbuna were Ps. Flavus, and I have 2 males come out of the group I got. EVEN in a 180, the two males just other seem to find each other too much. When I put my castles and slate roofed cave in the middle of the tank, the two males tended to help yourself to each half of the tank for in the region of 18 months or so. Just recently, one of the males ended up not showing his colors too much and became submissive, which is why I say-so, this would probably only work for a limited amount of time. In the end, similar to I said, I tend to side with bj on this, that the footprint you have is too risky for 2 males. I'd opt for the 1 male 4-5 feminine ratio.
They are aggressive fish. I have one of those. You better off having 1 masculine with 4/5 female because 30inches long tank seem to be very short tank. If you put both male together they will disagree each other to claim Territorial
Betta revive reviews?   Is this honest for my 55 gallon reservoir?? in attendance gona be small tho?   My fish is shifting colors from black to ginger. Why?   How can I grasp rid of the briny smell?
