How long will it pinch until my platty frys to draw from their true color?
My platty had her fry 4 days ago. She had about 40 and ate going on for 10. We now have about 30 of them. All are doing amazingly well! When will they get their true colors? Will they be all impossible to tell apart color?
Any hints for optimal care would be great too! They're in a separate tank and we're feed them brine shrimp and crushed flakes. They started out about the size of a half of a rice grain. They're in a minute about the size of a rice grain. Swimming very joyfully!
Thanks in advance!
my frys lasted a week to get their color.
they should receive their color very fast, it depnds on how you'll feed them. If you'll present them live foods, like blood worms then they should get their color faster next if you'll give them only flakes.
check this also. flawless luck
Answers: It really depends on the color. Black shows up almost fast. Reddish colors show up later, probably a few weeks. Yellow can show up when they're almost mature.
Whether they will adjectives be the same color depends on your platy and who she mated with. If she mate with similar pattern/kind of platy, then they'll roughly be the same sample and color. If she mated with one not of the same open-handed of platy, then the pattern will vary.
