How would i Plant Live Aquarium Plants contained by my Fish Tank?
how would i do this? and also what types of plant would be good for a betta?
at first you can just make a small gap for the plant (live it in the container) in the gravel and wait a couple weeks. once you see your plant thriving i would thieve it out of the plastic container.
You can go to pet store, and purchase already potted/planted plants that you can just verbs into the gravel that they stick up in. Most plants you buy come with some type of weight attached to them, so basically pop them in, and they'll stay! Good luck!
i dont really no but im certain that some people just place them in the cistern with the thing that they are sold in.. hope i help
I just carefully take the roots out of anything they're in, the ones I usually get own this gel stuff around them that I have to wash off, verbs a hole in the substrate with one mitt, stick that bad boy in and cover it back up!
Answers: How big is your tank? A betta will appreciate just more or less any plant that will fit.
I keep a betta in a heavily planted10 gallon tank. I enjoy java ferns, water wisteria, a small sword plant, hornwort, drift wood, rocks, and a sand & river pebble mixed substrate. My betta loves the hornwort, because it floats at the top of the tank and he can just punch his mode into it and just hang out in here for a while.
The java vern is tied to rocks w/ fishing line, and the wisteria & sword are just pushed into the substrate where they rooted themselves.
I wouldn't recommend going away plants inside the pots they come in, nor leaving any lead weights attached to plants that you put contained by the tank. The pots and lead can leech unhygienic substances into your tank.
