I enjoy 3 small almost 3-5 inches long oscars?
are they aggressive?
can i put them n the same tank as my goldfish
wat do i feed them
do i requirement to put them n a separate tank?
how do i get them big quickly?
They're semi-aggressive and they are pigs and eat anything that fits in their mouth.
Some people put goldfish within with an oscar to feed them
Cichlid pellets, worms, crickets, freeze dried shrimp, peas, stuff similar to that.
You might have to take one out. The 2 more dominant ones could pick on the lesser of the 3.
12-14 inches respectively.
If you want them all in 1 tank, you'll involve at least 165 gallons.(bare minimum)
A single oscar needs a 75 gallon tank, minimum, so three would stipulation at least a 200 gallon tank. No, you can't keep them next to goldfish, and yes, they're aggressive. Did you just buy three oscars without knowing how to care for them? Why would you do that?
Oscars guzzle cichlid pellets, insects, and worms. It is NOT a good idea to hand over them feeder fish. They already grow quickly, but a good diet and a HUGE tank beside good water quality will comfort. Oscars are dirty fish, so they needs LOTS of filtration.
Answers: Noooooo. They are one of the most aggressive cichlids. You nurture them goldfish actually so i would not put them in the same cistern. For food give them either live goldfish or live foods likes insects or frozen foods. To get hold of the big quickly is impossible its like you asking me how you can get big smartly fish grow slowly like all things What i could suggest is nurture them 2-3 times a day in small amounts each time could speed it up perhaps. The oscars can tolerate eachother but will eat most other fish.
Oscars are a very hardy cichlid fish that need ALOT of space, i currently have one 7 inch red oscar within a 55 gallon tank and that is even a bit to small. Having three in one cistern with goldfish would be a terrible idea. First your golfish would any be eaten, or pestered to death, next you oscars may quarrel among themselves if not given enough space. and lastly, they will grow to about a foot within less than a year. i love oscars, but if you don't know how to handle them , don't mess next to them. one oscar is said to need at least 55 gallons of water. you can nurture them anything live, vegatables, freez dried food , and cichlid sticks. but please dont keep them in a small tank next to golfish, oscars are not for amatueres. so due some reasurch and try to get another species(not much will go with golfish, so u may want to grasp rid of them).
Why did you buy them if you dont know these things?
They arent aggressive, they are territorial, and will attack if something bothers it. So I guess you could utter they are aggressive...
You feed them a varied diet of cichlid pellets, bloodworms, they might guzzle brine shrimp, krill... Vary their diet.
You CANNOT put them in with your goldfish. Your goldfish are coldwater and the Oscars are tropical. The Oscars need the heat to be at 76-82F. The oscars also need a heavy duty filter, for they are very messy eaters. Same next to the goldfish. Both of these fish get extremely large. The goldfish and the Oscars would need at smallest 75 gallons when they grow up. Thats 75 gallons for one fish. For 3 oscars, you would need like 200 gallons, and hope they are either adjectives male, or all female. If they are adjectives male, they will be aggressive. If they are all female, they will be more serene, but they will still be aggressive. If two of them pair off, all hell will break loose. If you grasp a pair of oscars, youll need to give them a cistern by themselves because they will KILL any other fish in the tank with them.
For them to obtain big, you need to wait. They usually grow roughly speaking an inch a month if given the right sized tank. They slow down around 8 inches though. But if you plan on putting them within a small tank, they will probably kill each other because in that isnt enough room for them. If you put them in with your goldfish, youll probably own dead goldfish and dead oscars. The oscars would kill the goldfish, unless they be extremely large. And the oscars would probably die from the temperature of the tank that you enjoy the goldfish in.
Should have researched. I guess thats what you get for self young and wanting to feed other fish to your fish, eh?
Well, I was going on for to edit this and say do NOT feed them feeder fish, but Chaos vanquish me to it...
In the same tank as goldfish? Your goldfish are going to find mauled by your oscars.
