I put a goby within my container. i havent see it surrounded by days...?
do you think it's dead? lol.
What kind of goby? I know at my local petshop at hand are a few saltwater ones that hide in coral and other objects for days on end. I be there one day when they were in reality looking for a body. He was in the live rock looking substance in the cistern, just as lively as when he went in within.
I have a jade sleeper goby and he tends to hide. Spend some time in fact searching for him. Mine likes to lay on the decorations or up against them which makes him strong to see. He also likes to be inside what decorations he can get into. I wouldn't worry too much, from what I've read gobies are relatively jammy to keep so he's probably not dead as long as he's getting food.
it may not be.true story, i put an upside down cat fish in my tank once and didnt see it for 8 months.consequently one day it showed up 2 1/2 inches bigger
have a look at this site for all you need to know going on for your goby, and like the others are saying they do tend to hide

Answers: More than likely he is getting to know his investigational home. THey are hiders but give him a few more days. Have you tried to feed him?
Also, what type of container are you housing him in? Brackish? Young gobies can stay in fresh water but most necessitate to be in brackish water. Try feeding him and see whether he comes out.
