I want to verbs my goldfish to a bigger aquarium?

Okay well I know I have to let it cycle and blah blah. But I want to use one and the same gravel and ornaments in the tank they're in currently. Sooo how am I to do this?? Since I'm supposed to consent to it cycle for about a week, I want to put the ornaments and gravel beforehand. If I transfer them to the aquarium, will it bother the fish(since the whole container they're in will be empty)?

And alsooooooooo how can I transfer the fish without cause them any stress/shock? (if possible)
If you are using duplicate things that you had in the old cistern, just switch everything right over. There is enough bacteria to do admin the fish load as there is. Make sure you put the old-fashioned filter over too. To move the fish, use a bucket and scoop them up. Good luck. (:
The ornaments and gravel are covered with beneficial bacteria, so whether you put them in the new tank it will cycle plentifully faster. Using the old filter will help too. Just put the gravel, ornaments, and filter in the bright tank (without washing them). Then add some of the mature tank's water and fill it the rest of the way near fresh water. This won't cause the fish any more stress than a big water variation would. There will probably be a small ammonia spike, but the fish should be able to handle it. Use some AmmoLock if ammonia is a problem.
Answers:    you can just scoop the gravel and take the ornaments out of the cistern its in, clean it off and put it within the new tank, simple as that. The fish'll be fine in an clear tank for a while, it doesnt NEED substrate to survive or anything. If you think it individual takes a week to the cycle a tank, you might want to brush over that subject a little bit after you set up the foreign tank. Once its cycled just get it out next to a net and add it to the new cistern!
