I'm upgrading from 2 10 gallon tank to 1 35 gallon cistern.?
If I put the water from the other tanks into the 35 gallon, do I still have to lurk to put the fish into it, or can I just fill the tank, will it call for to be cycled before I put the fish in. Or do I just use fresh wet and wait then scoop the fish?
If you move EVERYTHING form the 10gal reservoir, water, fish, filters etc at the same time you wont hold any cycle problems in the new tank.
That mode you will have three filters in the current tank for a while, but thats OK. The two smaller filters will support the fish in the larger container, just like they did in the 10gals.
You enjoy just moved the the whole system to a bigger tank, and added some more hose and a new bigger filter. The new tank will be cycled instantly, but you should permit it run for a couple of weeks before adding more fish.

It would be best to cycle your 35 tank totally. However, whether you are just transferring the fish from your two 10 gallon tanks into the 35 one, then use a gravel siphon, as this is the one and only way not to stress out the fish, and transfer the water from the first two tank into the new one, and just do a 33% water alteration, as you will be adding one third new water. Treat the different water, and your fish will be fine, just as long as you keep an eye on them. However, as I said, it would be better, and smaller number work to just cycle the new tank. Good luck!
Answers: Be certain to transfer the gravel as well, and to use the filter media from your 10 tank in the filter for the new tank. Just stick it contained by behond the new filter media. Keep it in in attendance until your next water change. These places are where on earth all your beneficial bacteria are at, and it is that germs that keep the tank cycled.
just cycle the foreign tank, it will look a lot nicer, and whats the rush? you have those fish already so newly do it the right way and be patient, you'll thank yourself when you finally get the reward of seeing the trial tank
