Is a moray eel toxic?
Answers: From my experience with them:
NO
(they just have monstrous appetites and put away anything that fits in their mouth)
I have not had experience near a dead one though. So if one were to die contained by your tank I have no idea whether it would release a deadly chemical or poison, like the boxfish.
no.. they are not poisonous within any way..
although they, like many top predators, are probably glorious in mercury and other toxins that build up in the flesh of secondarya nd tertiary consumers..
