Is it not dangerous for my plescotumus to suck on my aquarium kiln.?

We have a 10 gallon tank with a submersible furnace specified for that size tank. 2 weeks ago I installed the heater and added a plescotumus to the tank. I enjoy had fish like that before and I know they suck on any and everything, When he is not hiding within the log, he latches onto the heater. My children are concerned as they don't like a devout fish fry like I do. seriously, is it a problem? If it is how do I stop him from doing what plescotumusses do best?
The plec will be fine. If it gets uncomfortable it will move

The tank is means of access too small for a plec. I have 2 in a 500L and that is satisfactory for 2 territories they grow quickly
Its not a problem, if its too hot he will move away, he might just approaching it there because its warm. He wont stay on it if its hurting him. Also, fish man is right, Your cistern is too small for most plecos, he will soon get much too big. plecos are sold as algae eating fish, when really they dont eat much algae unless in attendance starving, and they make alot of mess for the small amout that they clean, try-out your water often and keep up on weekly hose down changes, and think about upgrading to a larger reservoir,
he wont stay there if its too hot. he will be fine.
he should let progress if it gets too hot

btw your tank is to small for a plecostomus

most grow over a foot and the smaller types necessitate atleast double what you have
Answers:    It is safe as long as the heater is not on at the time.If it is on,he will not suck on it.The stove does not stay on long or get very hot often. If it's too hot,he'll move absent from it.
