For the red sea max reef aquarium what is the best water salinity??
I hold a boxing shrimp his claws...
Answers:    1.022 is about right for reef tank, the S.G in my tank is usually 1.024 but the difference whether very small. Remember that the salinity can fluctuate if the water smooth decreases or increases.

1.022 is fine, as the water evaporates over the days/week it will rise slightly but it shouldn't go to an un-safe smooth..

most of my tanks are between 1.021 and 1.023.. all but 1 are reef tanks
