thankssss

Answers: If you use the filter from an already cycled tank and it has not been out of hose long enough to dry out, then your new reservoir should be "instantly cycled". You should not have to wait more than a day or two to see a bacterial bloom and own a cycled tank.
Unfortunately it won't instantly cycle your tank. ALthough it will help to set up the bacteria it will still be more than a week to fully cycle and only water test will tell when it is completely cycled. Adding an old filter or even a pad does own beneficial bacteria but the colonies still must build in your current tank. This isn't done over night.
You will need to theory test to be sure.
