My betta fishie consideration?

I got a betta 6 days ago. He is doing great & is very healthy.
but within the side of his tank he can see himself & kind of flares at himself, I know this stresses them & I am wondering if near is a way to make it so he cannot see him self??
Put a silk plant in there so he can salt away from the reflection (plastic plants can tear the bettas long flowing fins).
If you don't already, I would attain a live plant. Betta's LOVE plants and having live plants in your aquarium helps beside aeration and filtration. Look for a low light species that wont need too much maintenance approaching hornwort and your fishy will be SO SO happy!
Answers:    It's actually appropriate exercise- in moderation. Some breeders I know use the "mirror trick" for a little while each afternoon. But during the other 23 and a half hours...

Put background paper on the reservoir (if you haven't already), and shade the sides with something like books or magazines. If he's really driving himself (and you) nuts, you can drape a towel around the tank- or purely keep the lights dim.
As long as something is blocking the glass, he won't see his reflection.
Ok so when i step up to my bettas container, i see his flare fin approximately to move about out but not adjectives the instrument.?   Information On The Otocinclus Catfish?   How long will it be until that time my molly have is babies?   How do I winterize a small pond near fish.?
