HELP!! I have 3 goldfish and they are are lion ranchu goldfish. they live in an 10 gallon tank but one of the goldfish (which is adjectives orange) has his tail and fins black and is getting black spots. please help!

Go to the store and buy a 50 gallon tank and a 100 gallon filter.
Other than that, they will die.
They need 15 gallons per fish as a minimum.
You'll enjoy to be very careful about getting a cycle up and running contained by the new tank immediately or the ammonia will manage toxic levels as they are currently in a day or two.

You have too several goldfish in too small of a tank. The usual recommendation is twenty for the first goldfish and after ten gallons for every additional goldfish.
Your fish are probably suffering from ammonia burns due to a build up of waste in the cistern. Goldfish produce a lot of waste and so require larger tanks than other fish. Perform a partial hose down change, and upgrade as soon as you can.
Answers: The black coloration is simply healing from ammonia burns. Have you tested your river?

Alos you need to keep the fish on a weekly maintenance agenda for cleaning. 25% water change with dechlor hose down and a gravel siphone to clean the gravel.

Also, fancy goldfish do not obligation 50 gallons of water nor do they need 20 gallons each. fancys are fine contained by 5 gallons of water each.
