My oscars, brand brand new are have problems.can you aid?
i got 2 brand new oscars from the store just yesterday. they be doing fine in the tank for awhile until i turned the light on. they become sluggish and laid on there sides. my dad said there fine along with reservoir size, temp, etc. he said they need to get use to the tank but i want to engender sure. please help!

Oscars are very moody and will sulk for days after varying tanks or cleaning the tank etc. This is perfectly run of the mill if in a couple of days things don't change next go back to the petstore and ask them.
It's unlikely that the light has caused the problems whether the oscars are lying on their sides they are more likely to be suffering as a result of your water conditions being wrong for them.

Answers: hey your oscars are fine myne does it all the time after i move entity around they are very moody he should eventualy grow out of it mine did and now i can leave the hurricane lantern on
i think you should fetch out some water checks, along with adding some aquarium saline then see how it goes!
