My Siamese conflict fish wont drink?

i have had my new fish for almost 5 days now, he wont eat anything, i have be trying him on freeze dried black worms but he wont touch them. doesnt seem to be unhappy though. any suggestions?
How are you housing him?
What size tank?
Is it heated and filtered?
Did you cycle the tank?
BETTAS ARE TROPICAL FISH

why on earth are you keeping him without a space heater

he also needs a larger tank and a filter otherwise thats just animal cruelty and probably why he is not consumption
Answers:    Wait for a day first as it wants to acclimate/getting around/used to with its new environment in the aquarium.

For very soon you can try this step below:

1.Don't force it to eat at the moment as it may be scared on its surroundind.

Try to scoop out any uneaten food if not it'll foul up the water.

2.Try to close the tank near a cloth and try not to get too close to the tank to bring up the confident of your fish.

3.Try to put a air stone and a oven in your tank and also try to buy an aquarium test-kit to check the new aquarium marine condition:

Optimum temperature for betta is 24-29 C (75-84 F) , pH 6.0.8.0 and dH 25.

If the matter don't improve after another 1 or 2 days try to give a solution in the tank to calm down the reaction of your fish.

This solution is cheap and easily available at all your nearest fish shop.

Just explain the problem and they will give you the solution for your fish.

After its condition on the increase in a couple of day you can try to feed your BETTA 2-3 times a hours of daylight as long as the food are being eaten within 5-7 minutes it is fine.

If it is omnivorous close to BETTA you can feed it with mix diet such as :

1.small live frozen food
2.red worm
3.bloodworm
4.small aquatic invertebrates similar to shrimp, mosquito larvaes
5.food flake/pellet
6.green foods like pea

Once in a while you can feed it beside some vitamins supplement to enhance its colour and growth.

Hope my answer do help you on your fishes.

IMPORTANT:
And please buy a small plastic fish tank for your betta.

Good luck and have fun next to your BETTA like I do :)
