Need planning for 60 gallon freshwater container?
Hi guys,
Im looking for ideas for fish for my next freshwater tank.. Fish I resembling the look of but have no idea of the compatibility are.. bala sharks, red tail black sharks, lemon tetras, pearl gourami, corys, otos, angelfish, bleeding heart tetras, barbs..
I know for observable reasons not all of these go together but I would love whether someone could advice me as to which would be best for the tank. As it is a large satisfactory tank I thought maybe there would be satisfactory space for some of the semi agros to go together..??
any other suggestions for me for my community tank are very kindness!
Cheers
a few green spotted Puffers and/or figure 8

i would stir with angelfish, lemon tetras, otos and corys but u can have what ever u like u enjoy a big enuf tank to put a good bit of fish in so what ever u quality but that is my suggestion that is what i would choes o and u need food i would use tropical fish flakes for some of those fish all right i hope this helped(: see ya:D
Answers: Skip the Balas, they need a bigger tank. I wouldn't keep Gouramis beside Angels and be careful what Barbs you consider - Tiger Barbs are a no no for a more peaceful set up. Remember a pair of Angels can turn round, wish to spawn, and attack tank inhabitants. And that Red Tail Black Shark can dominate the bottom of the tank and be quite territorial.
Right, so after that, I reflect on it would be best to first decide your centre-piece fish of choice, whether it be Gourami, Angelfish or Red Tail Black Shark - and then work outwards from that basis.
I would stir for "semi aggressive" fish with caution - they could not necessarily be mixed with entirely harmonious fragile fish - robust tank mates only.
