Need suggestion : 24 litres - 5.50 g tropical community reservoir ?
Hi there !
I have 4 male guppies contained by my tank.
I would like to have more fish approximately the same size as my guppies.
I won't buy females or may be female betta, what do u think ?
I would close to to have 2 african dwarf frogs as well, what do you think ?
I close to : platy, molly, black neon...
In fact I like small colourful fish ! (I know black is a shade)
I think I'll buy one or two assassin snails as ably because I have 4 baby snails found one morning in my cistern...
Please help.
thx a lot a lot !

No you are fully or possibly over stocked already
When the guppy's die soon which they will in that cistern get a male betta splendens - siamese fighting fish
You might be ok next to a snail and a betta as long as your filter system is good
There isn't much space for that many fish. The means of access to find out how many it can house is to multiply the length by the width in inches and divide by 12. This will bring up to date you how many inches of fish it can take, excluding tails.
All the fish you resembling will live together happily, although mollies, platties and guppies are all live bearers and can produce dozens of spawn regularly. Black neons are shoaling fish and should be kept in groups of no less than 5, so if you hold the space that is fine but i'd recommend cardinal or neon tetra for colour.
I'd be cautious when it comes to snails as they can be more of a pest then a pet. I've have problems with them eating my plants and clogging up my filter. They tend to reproduce lots.
u can add everything u want jus make sur its the same size and
You can't do much with a 5.5gallon.
1 betta, but thats all I would do.
Answers: that reservoir is just good enough for 1 manly beta you don't want anything else in there, you could keep the 4 manly guppies but the ADF is definetly out it's about 5 gal to 1 frog for those, Plus with that small a tank unless you hold a filter for a 10 gal you should be doing 20-30% water changes every other day. Please unless you want to gun down your fish in a few months seriously consider upgrading to a 15 gal+ , plus cycling in all of those fish won't nick to long in more water than a 5g.
With all that you tabled you are seriously overstocking your tank = death. :(
That sounds quite pleasant, why not spice things up a bit and add a hampster right on in in that?
Not to put a downer on things but I use a 30 litre as a quarantine/hospital container.
