Need informative Literature on starting a Saltwater Aquarium?

I have made a purchase of a 75 gallon tank with profoundly of accessories for filtration and so forth to aid in getting started in the recent past time. I debated freshwater, however, after seeing a nice saltwater setup, I want to try it. I need an informative book I can read and learn from. I own seen numerous books, but if possible, would close to a first hand experienced person's recommendation. As well as any comprehension anyone else would like to pass along. Thanks.
Answers:    You can try the reef keepers bible I and II or saltwater for dummies, both are great books.

You can also check out these two sites for great info and info on fish.

Both the two books Especially the first one is a must have if keeping a brackish tank.

Patience is the key to starting a salt cistern. Don't rush your tank set up since it is the building blocks for the rest of your tank.

Don't buy fish on a whim. Sometimes we see lasting fish and think wow I would really love to have that one, when in reality it doesn't fit in with the rest of your tank.

Do your research run your time and your tank will reward you.

Also, due to so many myths, please don't ever believe that the more expensive equipment or fish are the better they are, that is simply not true. Research is your best friend.

Also, whether you have a LFS in the area that deal in salt water (I prefer the mom and pop places) draw from to know them. they will be your best source of info and help in the future. they will even cut you deal on fish, exchange fish you've decided not to keep plus you can call them anytime something go wrong. They are your number one asset when keeping an aquarium.

Good luck and remember we are always here on petsask.coms
