Neon Tetras or Fancy Guppies?

I have a 10 gallon fish tank and I was wondering which I should step for either Neon Tetras or Fancy Guppies?! I want to have a minimum amount of babies but not over the top!! Any ideas?
10 gallons is not particularly big, so if you do breed your fish, where are you going to keep them adjectives? I would go with the tetras.
I consider you should get a small school of neons and 3 male guppies. You can't own a minimum number of babies with guppies because once you buy a female, it will keep reproducing until your cistern is over stocked.
You could get male or female neons (but it's pretty much impossible to determine the gender) but the probability of them reproducing are fairly slim. Still, if you didn't want the 3 male guppies later you could get a slightly larger school of neons (perhaps 10) and maybe you would enjoy a better chance of them reproducing.
Answers:    Your cistern is too small for the very active Neon Tetra, which is also a rather prudish fish that should only be added to a fully established tank, so definitely Guppies. You can avoid the little one issue by sticking to one sex of guppies. (I'd go with Females, as they don't tend to be as aggressive toward one another as the Males.)
Here is a good site for Guppy info:

Whatever you do, be certain to read up on cycling your tank before you bring any fish home:

If you'd close to to consider other fish suitable for a 10-gallon, this site offers a pretty good list, along next to good stocking ideas:

Good luck, and happy "fishing".
If you want babies go near guppies as they are all-ways giving birth, make sure you have plenty room to house them in.

If you don't want babies go with neon's, these are sturdy to breed and will not give birth straight away like guppies, they stipulation a proper special tank set up for neon breeding.
Hope this helps!
well i dont know about fancy guppies much... all i know is they reproduce approaching no tomorrow...nature of guppies (pscht skanks lol jk)
but i had 4 neon tetras and they didnt reproduce at all, capably i only had them for about a month, whether that :(
so i would go with the neon tetras
Guppies are easier to breed. You can find a few of each. They will be fine. Most babies will be eaten before you see them unless you ensnare the fish having the babies. Generally you find under 5 babies that have survived hiding underneath decorations.
fancy guppies :DDD THEY RE SO AWESOME
Personally they are my fav ones. And I'd have both. Guppies are more plausible to have the babies. We never had babies with our Neons and single fish other then the guppies to have babies were our Zebras.
Guppies are easier to breed yes... but in a 10 gallon, I'd pinch it easy because when guppies breed, they breed. You don't want your tank to explode fish, so to report you the truth, I'd go for Tetras. At petsmart, we have platies have babies adjectives the time and they are so cute, especially the white mickey mouse ones. Maybe get a few of them :) Anyway, good luck!
i'd go next to the guppies. i hear they are somewhat easier to breed than most fish.
I would say guppies, they are easier to breed and more suited to your size tank and you can ensure that you hold the right sexes to breed. Always make sure you have 3 females to every mannish to prevent the girls getting stressed. You should also plant your tank to create a better environment, it will reduce the stress on your fish and provide more shelter for fry.
why not both?
When will my cherry barb diffuse her eggs?   Would a jd double act, or a convict cichlid set of two spawn on these?   Guppy pregnancy? They nearly didnt permit me post this:O?   What is this fish call?
