Phytoplankton food for coral.help out?

i bought some alive phytoplankton food for coral. I've noticed taht it will expire in a 2 less than 2 months. Can i seperate the bottle into section and freez it. Will that kill the phytoplanton. Thanks

Answers:    your phytoplankton will last longer if u shake it extraordinarily well ones a day, to get adjectives sediment in suspension again. also Phytoplankton will survive in your fridge for several months.I would also suggest turning past its sell-by date the protein skimmer after you feed for a while as it will take most of it out of the water.
