?Question About Fish Fins?
If your fish gets it's fin eaten off can it grow it rear legs eventually. I have a bunch of guppies and one of them got his back fin nearly completely eaten off. Does it depend on how much of the fin was eat?
I had a rasbora that had most of his fin chomped off when i bought him, didn't even become aware of it until i got him home. I used melafix and it grew back surrounded by no time
it will grow final as long as it did not get eaten down to the body.it probably won't look like it used to though and it will pilfer a while.
Answers: it'll grow back, if the fish lives that is, whether it was bullied by another fish theres always the possibility it'll die, but whether it lives, yes it'll grow back, I've had this happen a couple times, zilch serious but I had a male cichlid whos tail was nearly completely gone but after the tank settled out and other fish got used to him it grew back eventually, go and get a product called stress coat+, its used as a dechlorinator but it also helps with fin repair
