dude i decision i could answer ur question, but im having the same isue next to my platy; mine has a really red spot by her anal fins.
you should tell when she is approximately to drop as she will be massive! i advise you to buy a fish nursery its a little plastic box that hooks on to your tank but will separate them so they others won't guzzle them, its cheaper than a new tank and you can release them when they are big enough.
Answers: Mollies look really really huge when they are close to delivery. Their stomach becomes almost box shaped. They usually won't deliver until the middle of the darkness, when the lights are out and no one is around to present a threat to her or the babies. After she has them you can remove them to another tank whether you want to save them. Otherwise within a couple of days at least partly may be eaten by mom dad and any other inhabitants of that tank.
