Rainbow Sharks assistance?
Hey, I am buying a rainbow shark for my friend and we can only fit a 20 gallon tank. The tank will simply have one rainbow shark in it and no other fish. Is it going to be okay with such a small container? Could we go any smaller? Also, what types of things do rainbow sharks like in their tank? Thanks!

It may be a little crowded since they grow up to 6", but if you enjoy no other fish in there, you could get absent with it. Just make sure you hold plenty of hiding places and/or plants for him to hide in.
Feed it sinking algae wafers, or any sinking food.
The Rainbow Shark is a very popular freshwater fish that looks close to a shark but isn't one at all. It has a streamline shaped body much like a saltwater shark and is a high-speed swimmer. It's body is grey colored while it's fins and tail are red. It also has a black patch towards the end of it's body near it's tail.
A particularly hardy fish, the Rainbow Shark will accept a broad range of water conditions. The aquarium should hold one or two caves for the shark to hide in and use as a shelter. Other than that they are not picky approximately plants and gravel in the aquarium. Prefered water temperature is between 72 and 79 degree. Make sure the tank is cycled before adding up a Rainbow Shark.
The Rainbow Shark swims mostly in the lower level of the aquarium and spends it's time eating algea of gravel plants and aquarium decor. They are outstandingly fond of algea but will also eat flakes and even small fish that will fit in their mouth. These fish are great for claening up scraps of food that drop to the bottom of the tank.
