Rope fish? interesting?
I often enjoy looking an learning more in the order of aquarium fish. i came across a rope fish. i guess they grow to be very long and feed live. what thoughtful of tank setup would be optimal for this fish, and what mates go all right and what size tank do they require. let me know what you think, i'm interested!
Answers: a 55+ gallon container and anything that wont fight with it (no large cichlid etc) or be swollowed unbroken (neons guppies etc)
they are very passive shy fish that make righteous additions to larger fish community tanks
things like congo tetras, giant danios, tiger barbs, rams/kribs, larger tetras, clown loaches, and even unresponsive larger cichlids like geophagus, angels, and severums
as for feeding, some may need to be enticed near a few live shrimp, but in short time should be eating frozen krill bloodworms and chopped seafood
